About me
Hi, I'm Pedro. I'm a globally minded professional looking for a position in product management. The core of my experience has been implementing web technologies for NGOs and social projects, which has afforded me with a capacity to speak the languages of design, technology, and social sciences. I'm a skilled researcher in participatory methodologies and network analysis.
I have a passion for technology for good, strategy, and game development.
I've helped multiple organizations with technology projects, implementing everything from simple blogs and CMS, ecommerce, and custom web applications using tools like ExpressJS, Django, WordPress, Grav, and Joomla.
I approach any project from the perspective of the user, informed from methodologies like MIT's Participatory Design, Ideo's Human Centred Design, and HPI's Design Thinking.
There's a special place in my heart for project management.
I am currently the Strategy Chair for the Board of Directors of The Melton Foundation, I've taught young professionals LogFrame and project management, and I've managed teams using Agile methodologies.
I've presented and facilitated multiple conferences, both virtually and in-person.
I have also taught courses at school and university level.
