Developer
Throughout my technical career I have taken different roles: full-stack engineer, data analyst and tech lead. I believe that the core of software engineering is collaboration and communication. I prioritize the human element in every project—whether it's clients, stakeholders, users, and/or teammates.
My main technical expertise is in TypeScript and Python web development, with a special passion for frontend development and the UX journey. I deeply care for accessible and approachable code that can be easily understood and maintained by developers, and more easily explained to non-technical individuals.
If we can't explain it to you, then we don't understand it.
Psychologist
I have experience in both clinical and non-clinical work.
I spent most of my career as a psychologist working with NGOs and research projects around issues of Human Rights and poverty alleviation. I have worked with migrants, Indigenous Peoples, disenfranchised communities, and grassroots entrepreneurs.
As a consequence, I prioritize organizations that advance social causes for my technical work.
During COVID, I focused in providing safe and affordable remote therapy, where I worked with more than 50 patients and accrued over 700 hours of therapy.
From my clinical work, which is based in the Gestalt therapeutic approach, I've learned a lot about how to engage in meaningful human connections, and the powerful effects that it has in team performance.

HTI Engineer
Through my MSc. in Human-Technology Interaction I became deeply interested in everything related to UX and user research.
I have facilitated the design process from ideation to prototyping of several projects, assisting teams of non-technical and technical individuals to come up with a deeper understanding of the product from a user perspective.
My approach is based on IDEO's Human Centred Design, HPI's Design Thinking, and MIT's Participatory Design.
Facilitator
If all of the yapping I've done so far hasn't given it away already, here's the thing: I love to communicate, and I'm not half bad at it.
Beyond my facilitation work in the design process, I've taught at a university level in Chile, and I've designed multiple workshops around topics of Strategic Planning, Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, Diversity and Inclusion, and many others.
I've done public speaking at an international level in several occasions.
Strategist
During six years I volunteered in the Board of Directors of an International Foundation, serving in two occasions as Vice-Chair of the Board, and through my tenure as Chair of the Strategic Planning committee.
I also worked as the Local Coordinator for Monitoring and Evaluation of an International NGO.
